At some point in your life something awful will happen, someone you love will die or get seriously sick.
It takes time, but you must learn that when something like this happens, life goes on.
Learn to accept the fact that they are gone and move on.
Forget about the moment you lost them, and remember the wonderful times you had together.
But don't live the rest of your life in the past, if you do, then you too died the moment they did.
So remember, live and love, love and be loved.
That's all.

Joy in all the small things
A leaf fluttered in through the window this morning, as if supported by the rays of the sun, a bird settled on the fire escape, joy in the task of coffee, joy accompanied me as I walked.
